Limited Manufacturer Warranty

Effective Date: 01/01/2024

1. Limited Warranty Coverage

Stölzle Lausitz USA (“Stölzle”) warrants that its glassware products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase by the original purchaser.

This limited warranty applies only to products purchased directly from Stölzle or from authorized distributors or retailers within the United States.

2. What This Warranty Covers

This limited warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects in material
  • Structural defects resulting from workmanship
  • Premature failure under normal, intended use

3. What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not cover:

  • Breakage, chipping, or cracking due to impact, misuse, abuse, or mishandling
  • Damage resulting from improper washing, including use of non-commercial dishwashers not suitable for glassware
  • Damage from thermal shock (sudden temperature changes)
  • Damage caused by improper storage, stacking, or transport
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Scratches or cosmetic imperfections that do not affect functionality
  • Products that have been modified or altered
  • Commercial dishwasher chemical damage
  • Incidental or consequential damages

4. Commercial Use

For products used in commercial environments (restaurants, bars, hotels, event venues), this warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not cover breakage from normal commercial handling or service conditions.

5. Claim Process

To make a warranty claim:

  1. Contact Stölzle at support@stoelzle-usa.com within the warranty period.
  2. Provide proof of purchase.
  3. Provide photographs of the claimed defect.
  4. Provide batch or production information if available.

Stölzle reserves the right to inspect the product and determine whether the issue qualifies as a defect in materials or workmanship.

6. Remedies

If a product is determined by Stölzle to be defective under this warranty, Stölzle will, at its sole discretion:

  • Replace the product, or
  • Issue a credit for the original purchase price

Replacement or credit is the exclusive remedy under this warranty.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stölzle shall not be liable for incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use its products.

Total liability shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product.

8. No Other Warranties

Except as expressly stated above, Stölzle makes no other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Transferability

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
